JURDI has filed a lawsuit in Belgium seeking a temporary and targeted suspension of access to the SWIFT global financial infrastructure for six Israeli banks. The action, brought before the Nivelles District Court, challenges SWIFT's crucial role in financing operations that may constitute serious violations of peremptory norms of international law (IHL and the 1948 Genocide Convention) in Palestine. The hearing was held on December 16, 2025. This case could set a legal precedent.
