An interview with Johann Soufi, lawyer and prosecutor specializing in international justice and member of the Scientific Council of JURDI, is the guest of a special program on Media TV produced on January 2, 2026.
Johann Soufi reviews the dramatic state of international law and justice in 2025, focusing on the international crimes committed by the State of Israel in the occupied Palestinian territory. He reiterates the documented and proven existence of the crime of genocide and deplores the moral, political, and legal bankruptcy of Western and other states that have failed in their obligation to respect the most fundamental norms of international law, including those of the Security Council. Their double standards have exposed the duplicity of their rhetoric and rendered it inaudible by weakening the law. This is a plea for the continued respect for international law and international justice, the foundations of our international order, which is threatened by chaos.
An hour-long reminder of the law and a lesson in hope.
