Journalist Charlotte Gauthier interviewed Patrick Zahnd, president of JURDI. She questioned him to clarify the legal dimension (classification, applicable law) of the current situation prevailing in various armed conflicts underway in the Near and Middle East, both with regard to the Charter of the United Nations and IHL.
The applicable law and the classification of serious violations of international law committed in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Gaza Strip, West Bank), in Lebanon and particularly in the South of the country are addressed, with regard to the aggression suffered by Iran on February 28, the ensuing international armed conflict between the USA and Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran and the violations of IHL applicable there.
