In this opinion piece dated November 21, 2024, for Humanity, Rafaëlle Maison, Professor of international law at Paris-Saclay University and member of JURDI, discusses the use of torture by the Israeli army, in flagrant violation of international law. She notably mentions the case of Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh, a renowned surgeon from Gaza, arrested in December 2023 and tortured to death for several months.
